The churches on Møn are plentiful, beautiful and diverse – and in a unique highlight, the unknown Elmelunde Master has decorated several of the churches with the most impressive frescoes. You will find the famous frescoes in Elmelunde, Keldby and Fanefjord Church.
Møn is home to some of Denmark’s most beautiful and best-preserved stone dolmens and burial chambers. Even though several of them are more than 5,000 years old, you can still get really close and actually crawl all the way into the burial chamber.
Denmark’s largest circular kitchen garden is open for self-guided visits throughout the season – from the beginning of May to the end of September. If you have any questions during your visit, we’re happy to help. However, guided tours must be booked in advance.

The small, cosy towns of Møn are buzzing with life all year round. Here are three unique and special towns that are definitely worth a visit.
Stege is one of Denmark's oldest shopping towns and bears the mark of the Middle Ages, as well as more modern times, which makes the city an interesting and beautiful city to explore.
Klintholm Havn is a small harbour town with a large port on the easternmost part of the island of Møn, and with approximately 200 inhabitants it’s absolutely worth a visit.
Møns Klint is one of Denmark’s most iconic excursion destinations, and it is easy to see why. The white cliffs rise up to 128 metres above the turquoise sea and stretch along seven kilometres of coastline. It is a landscape that both impresses and invites exploration.
Enjoy a sporty holiday adventure on Møn. Row in a kayak, go cycling on a bike or ride a horse, try your hand at kitesurfing or snorkelling and much, much more. The possibilities for an active holiday are endless!
On Møn and Nyord, you can experience “Dark Sky” – a unique and dark night sky shielded from light pollution, offering the clearest possible view of the night sky and millions of sparkling stars.
