Karrebæksminde is a charming town that, especially in summer, shows its full potential. The town is utterly unique – a mix of marinas, fishing, beautiful sandy beaches as well as restaurants and activities for all ages.

Karrebæksminde buzzes with life on sun-soaked summer days, attracting tourists and locals alike.

You’ll find the iconic grasshopper bridge that connects South Zealand and Enø and hops open to make room for the large sailboats entering from Smålandsfarvandet waterway to dock at the slips in the fjord.

Visit local producers and let your taste buds explore local wines from Vesterhavegaarden Winery and Enø Bakery, which will tempt you with delicious, homemade ice cream. Karrebæksminde also offers a variety of lovely canal-side restaurants and cafés where you can enjoy a delicious meal.

Karrebæksminde is not far from Næstved, so why not visit the town centre as well. If you don’t want to take the car, it is possible to sail via the fjord on “Rundfart Friheden”, which sails between Næstved, Gavnø and Karrebæksminde.
