Beaches in the Næstved area
The area around Næstved is home to many inviting beaches that are perfect for the whole family. You’ll find everything here, from peaceful natural beaches to the Karrebæksminde/Enø seaside resort, where the summer holiday atmosphere is top-notch and there is always ice cream on hand.

Enø Beach
Karrebæksminde and Enø are known as an exquisite bathing resort with a beautiful sandy beach. The beach has for the past many years had the quality label "Blue Flag", which shows that the water quality is top notch.

Svinø Beach
Svinø Strand is a nature-created sandy beach located on the peninsula Svinø between Næstved and Vordingborg, it is very child friendly with low water. The beach is a blue flag beach with good bathing quality.

Vesterhave Beach
Vesterhave Beach is a peaceful alternative near Karrebæksminde with soft sand and plenty of space for relaxing days by the sea.

Bjoernebaek Beach
Bjørnebæk beach is a small gem appearing at the end of the gravel road "Strandbakken" when you approach it from Næstved. A lovely recreational area with beach, coastal region and forest. The beach is rather narrow, but also relatively shallow and thus ideal for children.

Glumsø Lake
In the middle of Glumsø is Glumsø Lake, where they in 2017 got their own freshwater beach. At that time, the beach, with its only six meters in length, was called Denmark's smallest bathing beach.

Strandegaard Beach
This fine, old beach is located by Klinteby, where it is undisturbed. It is not very visited and for the most part the only company you will have is a few fishermen and the tranquility of nature.

Tystrup Lake
A 150 meter long beach has been established at Tystrup Lake. There are also a grass area where you can enjoy your brought food at tables and benches. There are fine sand on both the beach and lake bottom.
