Mmm, so tasty!

South Zealand & Møn offers a wealth of delicious food experiences for the family’s smallest stomachs. Taste freshly made Møn Bolcher sweets and organic Møn ice cream while you say hello to the cows that produce the milk for the ice cream.

In South Zealand and Møn, you can take the children out to farm shops and local producers, where the ingredients come from. Here you can meet the animals, pick your own fruit and taste your way through everything from fresh fruit to homemade ice cream.

Some places are small and simple with self-service and a peaceful atmosphere around you. Others are buzzing with life, with ice cream, stalls and people out and about.

What they have in common is that these are experiences at a child’s level, where the senses come into play and where you get a taste of the area to take home.

Møn Is - Pollerup Hovgård

Møn Is - local producer with an eye for ecology At the farm Pollerup Hovgård, also known as “Møn Is”, Gitte and Benjamin live. The farm, which consists of 420 hectares of land and around 160 organic dairy cows, is a family owned farm of the 8th generation.

Jonsholm Strawberries

Jonsholm is an old family farm, in the village of Bakkebølle, where 6-8 different varieties of tasty strawberries are grown, many of which are rarely available in stores. Several different varieties of potatoes and peas as well as blueberries.

Pick-your-own blueberries

At Feddet in summer, you can pick some of the delicious, organic blueberries from Zealand’s largest and only organic blueberry plantation. The blueberry bushes are up to 2 metres tall, and the berries are easy to pick for both children and adults.

Langholm Frugt

In the 40-year-old plantation we grow apples and pears of many different varieties as well as plums, ribs and cherries. We sell them from our cozy farm shop. We also sell a nice cold pressed apple cheese made from hand-picked ripe apples of the varieties: Red Ingrid Marie, Red Elstar and Bellida.
