The Best Coastal Views on South Zealand & Møn

The lighthouse of Stevns is a unique, historical monument. It is 27 m. high and situated at the eged of the Cliff of Stevns, 42 m. above the see.

The church was built by a boater in distress who promised to build a chapel if he was saved. The church is located on the 30 m. high cliff.

Until 1972, Holtug Chalk Quarry, was active. In 1991 the pit was sold to the state who made it into a designated area of outstanding natural beauty.

In the northern part of the quarry, visitors can explore the geology of Stevns Klint and see how the cliff's rock layers continue inland. From the quarry, there is also access to the shoreline, where you can admire the impressive white cliffs from below.

The bridge Dronning Alexandrines Bro is also known as Mønbroen or Ulvsundbroen. It goes from Kalvehaveto Koster, thus extending from Zealand and Møn over Ulvsund. When it opened, the bridge replaced the ferry between Koster and Kalvehave.

Visit Oringepynten near Vordingborg and discover a scenic peninsula with beautiful views, mature trees and peaceful walking paths.

Knudshoved Odde is a special nature experience near Vordingborg, with long stretches of coastline, rare species and a hike that feels like a small expedition.

Dybsø Fjord Stejlebanke lies near Vester Egesborg with views across Dybsø Fjord. On the hill, you can see rare plants and traces of its past as an execution site.

Nylandsmølle is located by Dybsø Fjord and today serves as a nature base where you can take a break and enjoy views across the nature reserve and its rich birdlife.

Enø Overdrev lies on the southern part of Enø and features a distinctive coastal grassland landscape. Many waterbirds and waders breed and rest in the area.

The Grasshopper Bridge connects Karrebæksminde and Enø. The distinctive bascule bridge is designed as a grasshopper, with a characteristic face that makes it easy to recognise.

If you want to go for a walk in the green, you can take the trip out to Jydelejet on Østmøn.
