Nature areas in Næstved

Today the area around the Tystrup-Bavelse Lakes is preserved and part of it is owned by the state - including Hørhaven and Kongskilde Friluftsgård.

Holmegaard Bog is a large raised bog landscape on Zealand. Sphagnum, archaeological finds and traces of peat extraction tell the story of an area shaped over thousands of years.

Herlufsholm Pinetum contains a collection of rare pine and conifer trees from many parts of the world. It was originally established for teaching and trials with trees for forestry.
