Rådmandshaven
Rådmandshaven is a natural area behind the buildings of Næstved municipality. The area runs along Susåen and up to Herlufsholm boarding school, which is the owner of Rådmandshaven. The southern part of the area is an open grassland that has been used for various events over the years.

Herlufsholm
The boarding school was established in 1565 by Herluf Trolle and his wife Birgitte Goeye for 'the sons of noble and other honest men'. They were themselves childless. Herlufsholm was originally founded in 1135 as a monastery for Benedictine monks.

Slusehuset
In the middle of the beautiful nature in Næstved city you'll find Slusehuset, a wonder full place which rent out canoes and sell ice cream/cake and coffee.

Herlufsholm Park
Herlufsholm Park is beautifully situated down to Susåen. There is access from sunrise to sunset and it is possible to park at the parking lot at the school.

Herlufsholm Pinetum
Collection of rare fir and pine trees from all over the world. Established 1890-1920. The area had over 100 species of fir and pine. It was originally aimed at nursery use, but also as an experimental area to find suitable trees for forestry.
