South Zealand & Møn’s event calendar

South Zealand & Møn’s event calendar provides an overview of events in the municipalities of Næstved, Vordingborg, Faxe, and Stevns. You can filter by location, date, and type. There is even an option to “Download as PDF” – making it easy to print an overview for guests.

Tourist information in German and English

Not all visitors understand Danish. Therefore, almost all our content is available in English and German. It can be found at www.sydsjaellandmoen.dk or via the language versions www.sudseeland-mon.de and www.southzealand-mon.com.

Tip: Understand your guests better

Do your international guests speak limited English or German? Or has it been a while since you used your own language skills? With the conversation feature in the Google Translate app, you can speak into your phone and get instant translations on screen. The function works with any language. The app is available on Google Play and the App Store.

Filtered search function

The destination offers a wide range of experiences waiting to be explored. Is your guest looking for restaurants, museums with activities for children, or a nature area with picnic shelters and birdwatching towers? This search function helps provide an overview of local experiences for those with specific needs. By exploring subcategories, you get access to many filtering options.

Do you need new information signs and brochure holders?

The green “i” sign is the symbol of tourist information in South Zealand & Møn. As a tourist information point, it is important to have the signage you need – and we’re happy to help.

In this PDF, you’ll find an overview of different signage options. We also offer brochure holders tailored to your needs and surroundings.

We primarily work with Skiltex and Displaylager, with whom we have good experience.

Would you like to become a tourist information point?

In South Zealand & Møn, tourist information points are located where visitors naturally go – at attractions, accommodation sites, harbours, bike shops, etc. What they all have in common is a passion for personal service and offering that “little extra” that creates happy returning guests.

VIP card

As part of being a tourist information point, you and your front staff get access to a VIP card, giving you benefits at selected attractions, restaurants, and accommodation. This may include free entry, complimentary coffee, or similar.

To access the VIP card, you must be an official tourist information point and send your full name and phone number to Vibeke Tejlmand at vt@vism.dk or Sjelle at cs@vism.dk.

Brochure distribution 2026

VISM distributes brochures to all tourist information points and selected accommodation providers in the destination. Here you can see which weeks the materials are distributed.
