South Zealand & Møn’s Christmas markets are open until Christmas Eve – with open workshops, treasure hunts, visits from Santa Claus and his trusty elves and much, much more. There are experiences and activities for the whole family, so go ahead and make the Christmas shopping trip a pleasant family outing.
Unfortunately, we can’t guarantee a white Christmas, but we are not afraid to promise lots of genuine Christmas hygge.

Get blown away at the design Christmas market at Holmegaard Værk on November 16-17. Admission to the market is free, featuring up to 120 stands filled with Christmas gift ideas from some of the country’s finest emerging artisans and designers. This year, you'll find more than twice as many stands compared to last year’s Christmas market. You can even blow your very own glass Christmas ornament.
21.-23. and 28.-30. november 2025
Get into the perfect Christmas spirit at Gisselfeld Kloster, host of Denmark's coziest Christmas market. This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Christmas market, and it will be celebrated in style.
This year, your ticket also includes access to parts of the castle, and the little ones can meet Santa in Santa’s Grotto beneath the castle.

Leestrup Julemarked

Leestrup slår igen dørene op til vores traditionsrige og super hyggelige julemarked i det gamle kornmagasin. De fine boder er fyldt med kunsthåndværk, lækkerier og bøger. Hyg dig ved bordene midt i lokalet med glögg, æbleskiver og historier fra de lokale gårde.
Weekends in December
Visit the Parade House at Gisselfeld Abbey, where the Christmas spirit is at its peak. Sign up for one of the two workshops, where you can make your own Advent wreath or create your own Christmas basket with fruits and vegetables from the Orangery. On December 6–7, the old barracks will be transformed into a charming Christmas setting with markets and activities. Here, you can find this year’s Christmas gifts, your Christmas tree, and enjoy a glass of mulled wine and a traditional Danish pastry (æbleskive). The Christmas market will feature activities for children and the young at heart.

On Sunday, December 8, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, the Sukkerfabrikken in Stege will host the Biosphere Christmas Bazaar Møn 2025
The event will feature stands with local products, initiatives, methods, and creative solutions, as well as workshops for both children and adults, a café area, and talks about current topics within the biosphere area.
