Vester Egede Church is characterised by a complete reconstruction in 1876 and is located in the centre of the village of Vester Egede, forming the focal point of the small community with its many old houses and farms.

Vester Egede Church is a longhouse church built of red bricks in a neo-Romanesque style with slight Renaissance features, a western tower and a porch on the southern side.
The church is located at the highest point of the village and can be seen throughout the village street. Just east of the church are grazing fields from where the church stands out prominently.
