The restaurant is named after master mason Hans, who originally built the building and was known for his passion for both construction and cooking. Today, the place is run by his son, Jacob Rasmussen, a renowned chef who has assisted the Danish Bocuse d’Or team during the European Championship in 2024. Jacob brings his passion for gastronomy and respect for local ingredients into every dish, creating a unique dining experience that celebrates both tradition and innovation.

The menu at Restaurant Hans is seasonal and focuses on fresh, organic ingredients sourced locally.
