Kalbyri Forest lies in eastern Næstved and is an open, varied deciduous woodland. You can explore it along paved cycle paths and regular woodland trails.

Kalbyrisskoven is owned by Herlufsholm Skole og Gods and is located in the eastern part of Næstved.
The forest is an open and varied deciduous woodland. Many native deciduous tree species grow here in a diverse mixture of species and ages.
In the forest, you will find both paved cycle paths and ordinary woodland trails.
Part of the forest is used as a training area by the Danish Home Guard and is therefore closed off.
