Gården på bakken

We have two bedrooms with a shared living room, bathroom and a large open-plan kitchen and dining area. The larger bedroom can accommodate extra beds for two young children.

Holme-Olstrup and Gården på Bakken are an excellent base for your holiday in South Zealand. Gården på Bakken is just 2 km from BonBon-Land and 9 km from Camp Adventure and the Forest Tower. Many of South Zealand’s other attractions, such as Gavnø Castle, Faxe Limestone Quarry and Stevns Klint, are also within easy reach. Holme-Olstrup Station is 1 km away, with trains to Næstved (7 minutes) and Køge (30 minutes). Both Næstved and Køge are great places for shopping, with charming town centres and several good restaurants and cafés.

At Gården på Bakken, we care deeply about nature. In parts of the garden, we allow the grass and wildflowers to grow and therefore mow less frequently. This provides space for flowering plants and creates habitats for the garden’s insects. The garden is managed according to the principles of Vild med Vilje.

In the field, the grass is allowed to grow throughout the summer, and you may meet our free-range chickens and pigs. Inside, we have furnished our bed and breakfast with carefully selected second-hand furniture, creating a personal and stylish interior. By reusing existing furniture, we have been able to furnish the property without buying everything new.
