Surrounded by nature, Gæsteriet is a small retreat for adult outdoor travellers who value organic quality, stillness and personal hospitality.

After a day of hiking or cycling, you can settle into one of the cosy lounges and let nature take over. Birdsong, starry skies and a rare sense of uninterrupted calm are all part of the stay.

Gæsteriet is not a hotel. It is a small and personal guesthouse where nature, quiet and hospitality are part of the experience.

Accommodation with an organic breakfast

All prices include an organic breakfast with homemade bread and carefully selected ingredients. It is a good way to gather energy before setting off on another walk or bike ride.

All rooms share bathroom and toilet facilities. Gæsteriet is designed for adult guests and is best suited to a peaceful stay without noise, play or a fast pace. The house is filled with small, quirky details that help create its distinctive atmosphere.

The Red Room

The Red Room is located on the ground floor and features a large double bed, warm colours and a homely atmosphere.

It is a comfortable place to unwind after a day outdoors, sleep well and wake to the sound of birds before the next journey begins.

The Orange Room

The Orange Room is the largest room at Gæsteriet. It has a comfortable king-size bed, a wood-burning stove and plenty of space to relax.

As darkness falls and the fire begins to crackle, the room takes on a warm and peaceful atmosphere. It is well suited to guests who appreciate stillness, time together and the simple luxury of slowing down.

The bathroom and toilet are shared with other guests. This is part of the charm of a small guesthouse where both community and privacy have their place.

The Suite in the Light Green Room

The suite offers views across Bøgestrømmen and has large windows that bring the surrounding landscape close.

It has two double beds, a wood-burning stove and a balcony. Here you can enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine while the quiet settles over the scenery.

It is a place where shoulders drop and the day’s kilometres slowly turn into good memories.

Shelter overlooking Bøgestrømmen

The east-facing shelter overlooks Bøgestrømmen and is furnished with comfortable mattresses.

Wake to birdsong and begin the day with a refreshing swim in the sea or a rinse under the cold-water shower. The shelter has its own washbasin, cold-water shower and composting toilet.

Dinner as a small surprise

Dinner is not based on a fixed menu. Instead, guests are served a small culinary surprise prepared with care and a focus on good ingredients and flavour.

To preserve the special atmosphere and support the meal service, guests may not bring their own food or drinks.

Smoking is kindly requested to take place outside the property. Dogs cannot be accommodated, as three well-fed resident cats live and work on the farm.
